DENVER—Congressman Rahm Emanuel, chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, today hosted a breakfast fundraiser for State Rep. Angie Paccione, candidate for Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District.
The host committee for the event included Senator Ken Salazar, Congresswoman Diana DeGette, Congressman Mark Udall, Congressman John Salazar, Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, and Colorado Democratic Party Chair Pat Waak.
Congressman Emanuel told attendees that Paccione has the momentum she needs to win this November, and she has everything it takes to be the next Congresswoman for Colorado’s Fourth District.
“In Congress you need a person that knows who they are, why they’re there, and what they’re doing,” Emanuel said. “Angie has all of that, and more.”
Paccione promised the crowd that she would take the Fourth District back from the special interests and return it to the people.
“Marilyn Musgrave is bought and sold by special interests and powerful politicians, and the people of the Fourth District have had enough,” Paccione said. “I will be a principled leader, and I will stand up for the people and against the special interests.”
