DCCC RESERVES $630,000 IN ADS FOR CD-4
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee reportedly has reserved $630,000 of television advertising to target Rep. Marilyn Musgrave in the Fourth Congressional District.
The Hill, one of the top newspapers for Washington insiders, reported today that the CD-4 independent expenditure by the DCCC is part of $51.5 million going toward targeted races so far this fall.
State Rep. Angie Paccione, the CD-4 Democratic candidate, was pleased to see the CD-4 race getting national attention.
“Our campaign has known for a long time now that Marilyn is vulnerable. This is further proof that the national party knows it, and knows that I’m the one who can beat her,” Paccione said. “The Republicans know it, too. They’ve polled this district and won’t even release their results, because Marilyn is more vulnerable than ever.”
Paccione added: “Marilyn has sided with the special interests since Day One, and this ad buy will help take the message to the people that it’s time for principled leadership for a change.”
