FORT COLLINS—State Rep. Angie Paccione, candidate for Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District, today embarks on the second leg of the “We the People Tour” throughout Eastern Colorado.
This past weekend Paccione visited newspapers, radio stations, county fairs and other community events in eleven counties on the Eastern Plains.
Today and tomorrow she’ll visit four more counties in southeastern Colorado: Kiowa, Bent, Prowers and Baca.
“I’ve talked to hundreds of people on this tour, and everyone I’ve spoken to agrees that we need to return Congress to the people,” Paccione said.
“One senior citizen in Holyoke told me, ‘You know what the number one problem is? Special interests,’” Paccione said. “I told him he was exactly right, and that’s what I’ve been saying this whole time. We need to get the special interests out of Washington, D.C., starting with Marilyn Musgrave. That’s why I’m running, to return principled leadership to Congress for a change.”
